Why

Ashwagandha has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine, the root of ashwagandha contains many therapeutic active compounds such as steroidal lactones (steroidal saponins), withanolides (A-D & Z), withaferin A, withanone, withanolide glycosides (saponins),  alkaloids, ashwagandhanolide & withanolide sulfoxide. These compounds have been researched for their neuroprotective, anti-oxidant, nervine, aphrodisiac and anti-inflammatory actions.

Through a unique fermentation process these therapeutic constituents are transformed into more active forms and are more readily absorbed by the body, which makes fermented Ashwagandha a key component of our Focused Nectar.
