Siberian Ginseng

AKA: Eleuthero, Devils Shrub.

Scientific: Eleutherococcus senticosus

Family: Araliaceae

Part used: Extracted root

Where: Yilin Province

Phyto-Nectar: Focused

Why

Siberian ginseng, particularly the eleutherosides found in the root have been studied for their protective actions against oxidative stress and for its contribution to the prevention and treatment of diseases, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and inflammation.

Studies on Siberian ginseng root extract have shown an improvement in heart rate, recovery after physical exercise, greater ability to obtain energy from aerobic metabolism (by increasing the oxygen consumption and utilization of fatty acids as a source of energy) and, therefore, an improvement in mental and physical performance, which is why we have included it in our Focused nectar.
